Judy St. Hill - Schiner was born and raised on the beaches of Southern California.  She became a serious artist in the mid 70's when she studied with Barnaby Conrad at the University of California Santa Barbara campus.  Judy has had tutelage with a large variety of very talented and famous art instructors. She works in a variety of mediums which include oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, casein, pastel, air brush, Pysanka, ceramics, pottery and the list goes on. She teaches "anything goes art" in her Gig Harbor studio.

Judy is a lifetime member of the Malibu Art Association, Pacific Palisades Art Association and Long Beach Arts. She is an active member of the Peninsula Art League, charter member of Gig Harbor Strawberry Hill Artists.  Her work can be seen in the Port Orchard Manchester Gallery, Gig Harbor Ebb Tide Gallery and Gig Harbor Strawberry Hill Gallery.  Her work is in private art collections around the world.

She is in the process of writing a book about the old wooden boats and Classic Yacht series she and fellow artist painted for a private collector in Gig Harbor.

She loves art and enjoys sharing art information with people who show an interest.
