Elaine Fister Erickson was born and raised in the Tacoma area, studying art with Bill Phillips, Betty Mears, Jean Herron and Mary Jarrett.

Elaine has worked in a variety of mediums, but currently favors Acrylics, Watercolor and Colored Pencil. She enjoys “experimenting” in her home studio.

Elaine’s work has won awards at both the Puyallup Fair Fine Arts Show and the Pacific Gallery Artist’s Show where she is a long term member, and past president.

Elaine and her husband, Chuck, have been residents of Gig Harbor since 1973. They have two adult children and five grand-children.
