Yvonne Mayekawa Jewelry I have been designing and making jewelry since the early 1970s. I enjoy working predominantly in silver and natural stones, and I love the accent and spark that Austrian crystals and Czech beads bring to some of my work. I learned quite a variety of silver smithing techniques at UCSD including Keum-boo, chasing, anticlastic raising, and reticulation. I like to vary my work, rotating my love for beads with wire weaving and a variety of other techniques.
